CRI Office Buildings Exterior Commercial Painting Project

CertaPro Painters of East Tennessee was proud to be selected to paint one of the premier commercial office locations in Knoxville. Owned and managed by Cooper Realty Investments (CRI), the two eight story towers are commonly referred to as the Landmark Building. Built in 1972, this property is conveniently situated on 9 acres at the corner of Northshore Drive and I- 40. This Class A property is host to several large tenants with 192,844 square feet of office and common space.

This project involved painting the exterior of all prefab concrete walls to a new color. In addition to an already large-scale project, there were special challenges faced along the way. Parking is at a premium all day for this building and it is impossible to block off building access based on the volume of traffic coming in and out during work hours. Our crew decided that the best way to tackle this project would be to paint at night. Rigged with outdoor lighting and one 135’ articulating boom and a 45’ rough terrain scissor lift, our crew of 6 worked tirelessly to complete this project.

When asked about working with CertaPro of East Tennessee, Property Manager and Principle Broker, Shelli Denney, said “CertaPro has completed exterior painting of another CRI owned building with professionalism and earlier than the expected completion date. CRI Knoxville will be working with CertaPro in the future”.
